Frequently Asked Questions
If you don’t see your question below, give us a call a 877-287-6946!
Is there a minimum age for horseback riding?
Yes; the minimum age to ride is three years old, and they must ride double with someone at least 16 years old. Children six years old or older can ride single, but anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Is there a weight limit for horseback riders?
The weight limit is 270 lbs.
What if it’s raining or cold?
We will not run tours in the event of high winds or lightning. We attempt to contact everyone who is booked for a tour in the event of a storm. If your adventure is canceled due to inclement weather, you can opt to reschedule and rain checks will be issued in lieu of a refund. Please know that the temperature can drop when you’re going on a tour during the winter months, so make sure that you dress appropriately. Thick socks, a warm jacket that can zip up, a warm winter hat, thermal underwear, and even a face mask can be helpful.
What type of shoes should I wear?
We require that each person have closed toe shoes on before starting their adventure.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Reservations are not required but are highly recommended as our tours sell out daily. If you choose to walk in without a reservation, we can usually fit you in but the wait could be hours. Again, we highly recommend making reservations to ensure that you can ride at the time of your choosing.
How many people can go together?
We can accommodate up to twelve people per tour. If your group consists of less than 12 people, you will likely be paired up with another small group.
We’ve got a large group coming, do you offer group rates?
Absolutely! If you are interested in knowing more about saving the most money for your group, please contact us at (877) 287-6946
I have a special occasion! Can we celebrate it?
We love special occasions! Just let one of our reservationists know about your special occasion when you make your reservations.
