FAQs

Your Questions, Answered.

Is there a minimum age for riding?

Yes; the minimum age to ride is three years old, and they must ride double with someone at least 16 years old. Children six years old or older can ride single, but anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult on tour. Families with children 12 and under, please book your tour starting on the hour.

Is there a weight limit for riders?

When you’re planning on going on a zipline adventure, the first thing that you need to do is to make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing. Skirts are not permitted unless you are wearing shorts or pants under it, and you should not wear any type of jewelry that dangles. Close-toed shoes are required (we will provide shoes if needed) and anything that’s loose, like scarves, should be removed. If you have long hair, it should be tied back, and you should take everything out of your pockets, including cell phones, so that they do not end up hopelessly lost in the Smokies.

What type of shoes should I wear?

We will not run tours in the event of high winds or lightning. We attempt to contact everyone who is booked for a ziplining adventure in the event of a storm. If your adventure is canceled due to inclement weather, you can opt to reschedule and rain checks will be issued in lieu of a refund. Please know that the temperature can drop when you’re going on a zipline during the winter months, so make sure that you dress appropriately. Thick socks, a warm jacket that can zip up, a warm winter hat, thermal underwear, and even a face mask can be helpful if you’re going to be on a ziplining adventure in the winter months.

Do I need a reservation?

Yes and we highly recommend you call ahead to make your reservation as popular tour times fill up quickly.

About

Make the Smokies Your Playground!

Our adventure park was born from the need for family-friendly activities near Pigeon Forge. And for more than twenty-five years, we’ve been the #1 provider of fun activities in the region. Adventure Park at Five Oaks provides you with two of the best ways to explore the Smoky Mountains—by horseback and by zipline.

But we understand that you can’t feel at ease and truly have fun unless you feel safe. We love our horses and make sure their health and quality of life are a top priority—for a happy horse leads to happy riders. You can learn more about how we care for our horses here. We also pride ourselves on adhering to the highest (no pun intended) safety standards for our ziplines.
